Babes Wodumo is no stranger to public scrutiny – especially when it comes to her love life.

But when that scrutiny comes from those apparently closest to you, it can be particularly hurtful.

The Wololo hit maker took to Instagram yesterday to post a video recorded by Afrotainment new comer TipCee.

In the video Tipcee can be seen walking with Dj C’ndo at Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban and they speak in IsiZulu about two people but they do not clearly say they are discussing Babes and her manager Mampintsha.

Babes, however, seems to believe that they are.

She captioned the video Abantu bayahleba ngami nomampintsha bathi siyahlohlana ???? udanger bamuqedile yena ?????????? if you an artist uyawuvala umlomo (to be deleted)”

Which translates to: “People are gossiping about me and Mampintsha saying we are hyping each other up and as for Danger, they are done with him. If you an artist, you should keep your mouth shut.”

This come after Babes posted a video dancing and showing off her new Audi S3.

Tipcee responded to the video with an Instagram post that suggests that there might be some bad blood between the ladies of Afrotainment.

“When your rivalries realise u r threatening their space; when suddenly newspaper columns right positive stories about u; when TV & radio stations invite u to their shows; your rivalries are not happy!” she wrote on Instagram.

“When old videos taken ages ago suddenly resurface and occupy their social media space… It’s their way of getting back at you,” she continued.

Could this be a publicity stunt or is there really trouble between the Afrotainment ladies.
